It is Possible

Never Say Impossible Radio Interviews Linda H.Yates     It is possible when you believe it is.  Possible power can help you achieve your dreams.  Your future success depends on what you believe is possible.    Do you believe everything has potential to be successful?  I truly hope so. If you have doubts about what is possible in your own life, you are likely to be feeling unfulfilled as you read this.  Many of us are blocked by self-restraining chains.  We say in theory that we support the idea that anything is possible, but we stop short before we reach our goals. The point I am making is that many of us go through life feeling that we are mysteriously held back  from achieving our dreams by external pressures and limitations. In actuality, self-limiting beliefs are the real reasons that we put our dreams on hold and experience disappointments along our path.  The chains and locks that hold us back are the chains that we place on ourselves. We are the only one that holds the keys that can release us from our own prisons.  Believing in yourself comes before you start creating change and success in your life. You must also feel you deserve to succeed.  Everyone has heard how your thoughts can create your future.  However, thoughts must have real positive power because what you think can be undone by negative beliefs that you secretly harbor subconsciously. Do you believe there are limitless possibilities within your reach at any given time?  I do, and my guest today on NSI Radio believes in the power of transformation. Every one needs a boost of positive...

Resilience and happiness are linked

Resilience and Happiness discussed on Never Say Impossible Radio by Myra Goldick Resilience is an art   Resilience and happiness go together   Resilience is a natural characteristic of mankind.  As human beings we are the most resilient and evolved species on this planet. Our brains are constantly growing and becoming more efficient. Generation, after generation has become increasingly resilient and intelligent . Our brains are able to absorb more detailed information. Babies born today are innately able to adapt to technology at a much faster rate than their parents and can run rings around their grandparents. It is really quite amazing. You are probably wondering what resilience has to do with our larger more efficient brain’s, which have grown dramatically in size and weight from our ancestors brains.  The point I am making is that we are naturally a resilient species. We are able to survive and overcome devastating circumstances in our lives. Miraculously those among us who have suffered the most, exhibit amazing resilient behavior. Remember hurricane Katrina and the devastation that it caused in New Orleans? At the time of that horrific tragedy, I am sure that Katrina victims felt their lives would never recover. How about the devastation experienced by the families of 9/11 victims?  Here too I believe that many felt they could never recover from their losses. I could go on and on and talk about wars, personal tragedies caused by death and illness where people’s lives were permanently altered. However, over and over again  people have been able to heal, and go on with their lives and in many cases quite successfully. Humans...

What does kindness mean to you?

Noelani Musicaro visits Never Say Impossible Radio How would you define happiness? I believe kindness is treating every person that comes into your sphere or life, if only for a moment, with the exact respect and generosity that you would like to experience.  The dictionary’s definition of kindness is “the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.” Sometimes it is as simple as a “good morning and a smile” shared with a stranger when you enter an elevator.  It has been my experience that most people are innately kind and are willing to help others.  I have seen young people rush to help elderly people with heavy packages. We have all witnessed good samaritans stop to help change flat tires for strangers. It is truly inspiring when you see a person reach out to help another person without an ulterior motive.  Perhaps that is why it is so shocking when you see the opposite.  Let me give you an example.   How many times have you been stuck on a highway when the roadway narrows down to one-lane because of construction.  Most people are very considerate and allow others to enter that one lane passage, while others refuse to allow anyone in.  It’s as though they deliberately want to inconvenience a fellow traveler because they are annoyed by the traffic slow down.  They selfishly move up and deliberately make it difficult for another to merge over.  I have often asked myself what could have happened in that person’s life to make them so miserable? Do you think kindness can be taught?  If yes, why is there so much bullying in school...

You can become a role model or mentor today

We all need role models and somebody to look up to that inspires us. If you think, you can make it totally on your own, think again. Sometimes  we need is a push in the right direction. Everyone needs someone who believes in him or her. Perhaps all that is needed is to be shown the way and a path to follow.   A role model or a mentor focuses you’re thinking and possibly helps you change your life.   Who impressed you during your childhood? Was it a family member or a teacher? Perhaps it was a friend who did things just a little differently than you and never gave up trying to succeed at a venture. I think I can pick a role model from many different areas of life. Is there one part of your life that is more important to you than another? Where does your passion lay? Is it music, art, science, sports or any other multitude of specialties? Many people have played a part in helping me become the person I am today. The funny thing about it is most of them never knew how much I admired them.   There are so many incredible people we come in contact with, crossed paths with or read about during our journey through life. It’s almost impossible to pick one or two. As a child I spent a great deal of time recovering from a crippling disease. When I was homebound and recovering from polio, the Board of Education sent a wonderful home instruction teacher to aid me with my schoolwork twice weekly. The teacher...

A mastermind group can help you and your company succeed

Most of us know what a mastermind group is in theory. However, many of us have been never joined one or benefited by the wisdom and support offered within such a powerful joint effort. In any given endeavor, an individual may pursue self set goals independently. No matter how talented, gifted, outstandingly creative and bright that person may be, the collective energy of a group of like-minded people sharing knowledge and support will always enhance, motivate, and expedite that person’s goal achievement. There is great power in numbers. Several months ago I was invited to join a mastermind for the first time in my life. The only thing that I really knew was what I had read about it in Napoleon Hill’s book; “Think and Grow Rich”. This is a non-fiction book, I highly recommend to anyone who is looking forward to creating great success, wealth, and recognition in his or her life. In the book, the author describes that the energy created by multiple minds working together to achieve goals collectively and ultimately for the good of all the members is an effective way to succeed at accelerated speeds. A mastermind group is dedicated to supporting achievement through positive thinking, collaboration and accountability. The members of the group do not necessarily have to be working employees of a particular Corporation or a business entity. However, it is important that the members be like-minded people working to gather to help one another achieve their goals, celebrate their wins, forgiving each other their mistakes, share their knowledge and resources freely with honesty and with an absence of selfish ulterior motives....
